CONGRATS TO PEI GRANT WINNERS (JK I hate you all JK)



I am a loser, here are the winners:

The Design Center at Philadelphia University. $200,000, for a project about lace. (Lace in Translation)

The ICA, University of Pennsylvania. $250,000, for a project on clay. (Dirt on Delight: impulses that form clay.)

*Megawords. $20,000 for a storefront exhibition space and two editions of Megawords magazine.



The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. $128,796 for a Peter Saul retrospective. (Peter Saul: A Retrospective)

*Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. $237, 535, to get ESPO to do a mural and some SEPTA TransPasses. (LOVE LETTER)

Philadelphia Museum of Art. $250,000, for a James Castle Retrospective. (James Castle: A Retrospective)



Planning Grants:

Arcadia University: $25,000

The Clay Studio: $25,000

Rosenbach Museum and Library: $24,900



*Screening (at Vox Populi, but it's own separate entity): $5,000

*First-time PEI grant recipients.
